Driver Training 2021
The Mazda MX5 Club’s Driver Training Day will be held at Circuit Chris Amon at Manfeild.
Your diary date: 10 October 2021.
This is a National Event, all members are welcome.
5 Events
This is a great day out to let you really find out how much of a fun car the MX5 is to drive (if you didn’t know already) through a series of events designed to test and improve your driving skills.
In the morning there will be four different events: gymkhana, braking, cornering and slalom. In the afternoon, after a classroom instruction session, there will be time on track in safely sized groups. The first sessions will be limited to a maximum of 100km/h, with a final period where you can go as fast as you like.
This final period will require drivers to wear a racing helmet and will only be open to those who have either done a Driver Training Day before or who have track day driving experience. NA and NB cars must be fitted with proper roll protection, a minimum of a half cage. Style bars are not acceptable.
